New to the Saab World
Hello, I have a friend that just came into money and bought a Porsche. She is now getting rid of her 2003 Saab 9-3T with 88k miles on it. Only problems on the car are so she says is the a/c fan needs to be replaced, needs a new gas sensor (always reading empty), and there is a strange grinding noise when I hit the brakes. Also I test drove it to work today and accidentally broke off the center console leather part. ***** went flying. Oie Ve. I really do not know much about Saabs. Are they reliable? Are there a lot of after market parts? Is it worth buying. She wants to sell it to me for 2k. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'll buy it for $2k
No seriously the newer generation of the 9-3 is built a little better than the previous.
There does not seem to be a whole lot after market in the way of performance available.
I've come to find that you must love Saabs to own one unless you are a tech or do not care about paying $90/hr for repairs.
