Power Antenna not working
I recently attempted to replace my broken power antenna mast. I had to remove the antenna motor from the car and then replaced it. Now the antenna motor does not run. Are there any tests I can do to check the motor. I tried to check the plug that plugs into the radio. I thought that it would have current when the radio was on?
The reason I removed the motor was because while attempting to insert the new mast after it retracted into the motor and then was raised again it came out and the locking sleeve that fits over the mast was missing?? I could not find it anywhere in the garage? So I removed the motor to see if it was caught in the tube attached to the motor.

Did you end up finding the locking nut? It's too big to be inside the tube though
The actual control is not from the antenna wire in the radio, but from a "remote" signal from the radio. Check wiring diagram, but I think it's a blue wire. Make sure you install the motor on the car when testing... body of the car is its ground.
