Short Throw Shifters?

Short Throw Shifters?
Got a 2004 9-3 and have a tall shifter, which makes the throws very long. I'm having a hard time finding something reasonably priced to reduce the throws. I'm not too familiar with short throw shifters or how they work, and any advice or guidance to a product that would work would be very much appreciated.
