About to clean (with new gasket) throttle body. '08 9-3. Question.. what is the sequence for turning on the Tech 2 and having the motor running? Saw and heard a video where the motor was running and then the Tech 2 was turned onwhile the motor was already running.

Is this correct? To have Tech 2 plugged in, not on yet, start motor, then turn Tech 2 on? Just received the Tech 2 and don't want to fry it. tx
