2001 9-5 crankcase tube question

Good morning one and all,
I am a newbie to this forum but am grateful as that is the price we pay for our dear SAABs. Ufnort. I am new hence I don't know how to post a photo. Robert

If it is an automatic and is a tube coming form the top of the transmission and aiming back. Its the trans vent. Leave it loose facing the firewall.
