Default 99 Saab Maintenance

Does anyone know the recommended maintenance on the 99 Saab 9-5 V6? The reason I ask is this: I bought the car a few days ago from a Saab mechanic. Just before I purchased the car I researched consumer reports and the 99 v6 was not recommended, however the 2002 and newer had very good reports. When I asked the mechanic I purchased the car from (regardless of consumer report, you should see this thing) why the change-since to me it seemed the same or very similar engine-he replied that Saab had changed the maintenance recommendations on the newer models so people were keeping up on them better and getting better consumer reports. With that said, I'm aprehensive about digging into a 99 owners manual and potentially not getting the best maintance recommendations on my engine. There's already 100kmi on it, I love the car and can't afford much right now if something were to happen. Any suggestions?

Default RE: 99 Saab Maintenance

As far as I know the problem areas with the V-6 of that year was the oil cooler and the timing belt related components...you shouldn't have any problems untill 100K miles and even after if you keep up with maintainance
