Engine turns over, but won't start
Hello everyone.
Yesterday, while I was on my way home from work, my 9-5 lost power in the middle of driving. All of the lights on the dash came on, and I lost power steering/braking/etc, and the accelerator didn't work. I tried starting it again, and a few times it would kind of sputter on and die again, but eventually I couldn't even get it to sputter. I had to have it towed home. I'm not much of a mechanic, so all I really knew how to check was the battery, and it doesn't seem to be the problem. While trying to crank it, the engine continues to turn over, but it won't start up. Although it was raining pretty heavily when it initially died (and my Saab had previously had some issues with moisture), it's completely dry under the hood and was parked in a garage over night.
If anyone has any idea what might be wrong with it, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or wisdom. I would also be more than happy to snap some pictures if there's anything you need to see.
EDIT: I just did an OBDII scan, and it didn't find any codes or problems.
