I replaced the blower motor in my 1999 saab 9-5,the motor was making funny noises then just quit,I found the brushes were completely gone,any way got the new one in and started the vehicle up and the blower motor come on for about 3 seconds and then quits,the code reads 1-21 on the acc test,the code stays on panel all the time when I start the car,I do not have to even push auto and off,not sure whats going on but will the code 21 shut the heater fan down?I may also add the car ac never worked since I bought it,I don't want to replace the recurculation motor if its not bad,is the recurculation motor code 21 causing this fan to shut down or what else could it be?
