put in some different plugs
I kept getting codes telling me my (DIC) was bad. to do the cheaper I replaced the plugs first. didnt help so I ordered the DIC.
BUT.....
I used the plugs that Nopi had in stock. Iridium NGK plugs. of course Ive already installed them so Im alittle late But. Are these plugs ok for the saab 9-5 Aero?? I so far have no issue. (been a couple weeks) am I getting into trouble with them??

They will simply not last as long if they're even the proper plug types. For this car you absolutely want to use the OEM NGKs and none of the fancy iridium/platinum stuff. That and the gap on the plug is very important since the DIC detects knock using the spark plug and it was designed to work with that certain plug at that specific gap.
got the new (DIC) installed this morning. went got new plugs also. new issue. PLUGS. went to pepboys. asked for the plugs to my car. (bottom of (DIC) said resistor only. so I asked for resistor only in NGK. the plugs they gave me are BCPR6ES-11. but I looked on this site http://www.ngkpartfinder.co.uk/car_c...9-5&engine=2.3 and the Plugs I think Im suppose to have are PFR6H 10. Do you know if there any real difference in the two. you think I need to replace again????
