... if i were to replace it with a new one, do you think that it'd just keep ruining the way it has?

check your exhaust mounts see if they are dry rotted. i just noticed the problem did you bottom out on anything? like center medians,curbs,small animals,etc? it looks as if it has been pushed up toward the floor board by something. i had a similar instance when i lived in texas i drove over an armadillo it jumped upward and busted my cat,fuel line,and dented the floor of the nissan i had. that is certainly not just rusted out. i think you could find a shop to weld that back together pretty cheap dont just look at muffler shops. ask around trailer builders small race shops anyone with a welding machine that wants a little extra cash.

I dont remember bottoming out on anything and i didnt hit anything.

The noise it makes was very irritating so i just took it to a muffler shop.
They cut out/welded in a new one for the same price the actual part costed online.
Worked out great and now i dont get weird looks when im driving! haha
