Power loss

I have a '96 900Tthat has an instrument panel with an intermittant power problem. ALL functions including speedometer drop out. The alarm sounds then they're back. The cycle keeps repeatingitself. Any ideas on troubleshooting?

sounds like the instrument cluster is faulty. Good luck getting to it, I wouldnt even attempt it.
