It's about $270 for stockclutch and pressure plate, and the stage 2 with a viggen pressure plate is about $400... the prices are for eeuroparts and genuinesaab respectully.

sorry just a couple of more questions if you will.first of all have you ordered from either of these sites and if so what do you think and how long does it usually take to recieve the part. Second, how do you feel about Sachs as a stock replacement clutch as suppose to a genuine saab? Thanks alot again

I've done buinsess with both. If you're on the east coast eeuoparts is almost always overnight (with UPS gorund), genuine saab is a lot further away so it takes 3-4 days if they havee stuff in stock. sachs is a good replacement clutch.

Think i burned my clutch couple days ago stupidly racing with friends, the car drives, but the clutch work worse than before, thinking of replacing it. The estimate i had yesterday was 900$ ,350 labor the rest is parts. This is a little bit a lot for my budget,so the question is is it a DIY job if i get parts online and also do i have to change pressure plate and clutch disc only or replace release bearing as well?
Did anybody replaced their clutch by themselves, can you help?

It's getting warm now so you should be able to DIY this. This guy's site has loads of useful info on DIY jobs. Here's how you removethe transmission. http://photo.platonoff.com/Auto/2006...ssion_Removal/ I thing the estimate you got is a ripoff especially for a stock clutch.
