1999 Saab 9-3 Clutch issues
Hello,
I bought my son a 9-3, and the clutch pedal shifted almost at the floor, I replaced the clutch, pressure plate and slave cylinder, bled the clutch and all was well, except the pedal still was almost at the floor when shifting. he drove it for a few days, then the car wouldnt go over 35 in any gear, and now isnt engaging at all. I rebled the system, and all the gears go in with the car off. i looked at the master cylinder connected to the clutch pedal and there is a brown "crud" all over the boot, and it looks like it dripped down to the spring on the pedal etc... my question is does this sound like the master cylinder is bad? and would it cause the cars symptoms? any help would be appreciated.
Mike
