engine does not turn over! i do not hear the fuel pump turning on either.

radio turns on, dash turns on.. electrical appears ok as usual.

i have already had the key switch problem...once, problem was solved by a simple cleaning. key was once again recognized.

battery is newer, maybe 2 years old at best. checked easily accessible connections. (have Not checked starter connection)
fuses are all good..

last time i had a switch problem, the dash said it did not recognize the key.

dash does not read out anything obvious. could the sensor for the key still have gone bad?
neutral safety switch?
