Default 99 Saab 9-3 Convertible questions

I have searched the forums looking for an answer and Ihave not been successful.

I am trying to find out where I can locate a passenger side upper piston and instructions for installing and bleeding for the top.

I know these can be purchased from the dealers for a premium, but after years of DeLorean ownership, I also know parts are available elsewhere just labelled differently.

Does anyone have any knowledge on where to look?

If eeuroparts doesn't have the part listed - give them a call. They've gotten me unlisted parts before. Also http://www.thesaabsite.com/has parts.

HA! Genuainesaab.com is Taliaferro Imports. They are literally 3/4 of a mile from me.

Hey all, glad I found this forum since I lost my manual!! I'm on Saab #3, which is a 1999 9-3 convertible who's top no longer works due to leaking (EXPENSIVE!) pistons.... My question is, can I manually raise/lower it?? It's getting really nice out here in VA and I really don't want to drive a sedan all summer

Thanks!
Kate
