indash INFO DISPLAY quit
I have to replace the indash info display for the 2nd (or third) time. Wife took it to the dealer today & they wanted about $400 + to change it!! I'd bet it's an easy fix...with the correct tool. Anyone know how to remove/replace it AND a good place (online?) to get a replacement. About $250 for a refurb locally. Any help out there? Thank you all for your thoughts. 9-3 SE convert. 2001 (part # is 38138 according to a past warranty inquiry)

ugh...that's not a DIY fix than. There are many SID repair services available, I'll try to look up the one that's most recommended, but you definitly don't want a new one since it'll eventually have the same problem again. You need a professionally refurbished one and it won't run you more than $150.
