Increasing Sidewall Profile Height on 9-5 Aero Wagon
I'm the proud new owner of a Saab 9-5 Aero wagon after years of owning wagons from the other Swedish guys.
As many of you know the roads here in Maine are dreadful. I was considering getting a new set of Nokians for my 2004 Saab 9-5 Aero wagon with a 50 profile sidewall, versus the 45 profile OEM size, to improve the ride of the wagon. While, I really like the firm feel of my current tires,theyget to be really tiresome on long drives on the deteriorating roads in the Maine backwoods. Does anyone know if sidewall profile can be increased withthe 17" OEM wheels, or is this not such a hot idea.
