Hi guys, just looking for some opinions. Purchased a 2001 93. The car drove great and shifted really smooth. 32 miles and two days later it would not go into gear. Mechanic showed me the clutch and it is shredded. He said that this only happens from racing the engine and dumping the clutch. He also said that it could not have happened prior to me purchasing this car because it would not have shifted good. Just wondering if someone may have bad driving habits or if it is possible the problem pre existed thanks.
