Default Key FOB unlock button broke. How to stop alarm??

The unlock button on my 2005 9-3 aero key fob broke so I use the key to open the door but the alarm goes off every time. I don't have a spare key and I understand it's very costly to replace the key. Is there a way to disable the alarm? I'm sure the neighbors are tired of the honking every morning at 6:30. Thanks.

I would make the investment in a new key before your remaining one goes bad altogether. From what I have read, a new key and programming is about 200, but if your current key is lost, destroyed, etc you have to get a new key, and something new with the computer since there is not a programmed key, which is in the area of 1k. Our unlock pad is starting to go too, but have a back up key, might still order another to have on hand.
