Default Speed Compensated Volume

I wanted to set up the Speed Compensated Volume, following the manual directions to hold the BAND button while turning on the stereo. When I did this, my radio started cycling through each speaker, first the tweeters in one cycle then the bass. This continues until I shut the stereo off.

I never saw any options on the SID.

Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong? I'm really confused.

(It's an '02 9-3 SE)

Thanks

Default RE: Speed Compensated Volume

Problem solved.&nbsp\\; I discovered a discrepancy in the manual and an easter egg of sorts.&nbsp\\; The directions say to push the power and "Band" buttons at the same time.&nbsp\\; In the American version, the "Band" button should actually be "WB".&nbsp\\; If you hit the "Band" button (as it's labelled on the radio), you'll engage a test function that runs through each component of the speakers (tweeter, woofer, etc).&nbsp\\; Useful if you ever suspect a bad speaker.
